About me
Lazy Sloth Art
Artist
Hi, I'm François, also known as Lazy Sloth Art, a French 3D artist based in Pau, in the southwest of France. What draws me to low-poly is its power to suggest a whole atmosphere with just a handful of shapes, letting composition do all the work.

Artwork Creation
I use two free and open-source software programs, because I believe the tools to create art should be free and accessible to everyone.
- Blender, a 3D software where I create the entire scene, set the lighting, and choose the colors. Once I'm satisfied, I make a provisional render, which then undergoes the following post-processing step.
- GIMP, an image manipulation software where I do the post-processing: tweaking the contrast, saturation, and color balance of the image to get the most out of it.

Product Printing
To maintain full control over the production pipeline, the products are printed by Heliografy, a printer based in Pau, France, which offers a wide range of printing techniques, including the rarer aluminum dibond printing process. The quality of their printing, combined with their low tolerance for defects, made the choice obvious.
